    Description

Please let's try to be consistent in the usage of * in the search forms overall all the various pickers and managers.

For instance, in the ACL - Admin Center panel (users and groups), you have to use * (before or after the searched terms according to how you want to refine your search). In the ACL picker, no star is needed at all and it automatically map * before and after the searched term. However in the Global Search View of the file picker you need to put * else it does not retreive anything.

Either we use one paradigm or the other, but not both in the same time.

      AFAIC I would:

      • automatically add * before and after the search terms as some users do not really know how to use "searched syntax"
      • But if the user specify some wildcards, we take them in account (for example "web*" would only find results which begings by web and not the one which include somehwere in the string or at the end web. This could be usefula for power users.
