ACL AES pop-up: Edit button fires a 403 pop-up when the page is waiting fo validation

I turn on the AES ACL settings on the onleine demo with the publisher user. All my page are currently waiting for validation (yellow state).

When clicking on the small inline pop-up for ACL there is an Edit button. When clicking on it this fires a 403 sub-engine.
