Category Picker , unselecting an sub category doesn't unselect automatically its parents

I know actually there is some disagreement about this feature of category picker: selecting a sub category select all its parents automatically and personally I found this concept not really logic but it's not my reason for opening this jira, the problem I mention here is with this actual stat of category picker if I select a sub category by mistake and want to unselect that (can happen enough frequently) I should manually unselect all its parents as well , in the case my tree has more than 2-3 levels (enough frequent in the client real life ),all these usefulness clicks could rapidly become a source of wasting time for the end user ..
