Copy/paste of boxes on the home page are not working (and not compliant?)

I am playing with the new default template. On the home page I created a few boxes in the right column and in the main one.

Then I tried to copy/paste a box from my left colum to the main one (the quite basic thing that everybody will immediately try).

1) Box names are not similar between the left and the main column. There is one "text only" box and one main_content in the main center. So it looks like one should be inherited in the CND from the other (ex: the text only could be pasted in a "super_text" CND with a title and a file field or vice-versa). Currently this does not look possible or at least the past action is not present. So how does CND inheritance work on copy/paste?

2) If I select my box at the ctnlist level I can make a copy (of the full box list?). In the other main colum, I can make a paste (the action menu is present so it means that this is compliant and the action is possible). When clicking on the paste action nothing occurs. Quite confusing.

At the end I could not "move" my box from my left to right column.
