    Description

      60 r23256

In Jahia 5, when I left admin center, I was redirected to currently selected site's home page (site selected in site view tab)
Now, in andromeda, I am always redirected to default site (but maybe it is what we want as we now have a drop down list to swich virtual site in admin bar)

[JAHIA-3812] Keep current mode and pid when entering and exiting Admin Center (under certain constraints)

Yes, I was also thinking about it.

On large site, this is quite a problem to be redirected each time on the home page (and in live mode, not in your previous mode). This is especially a problem when you rapidly want to create a new user, a new group or add a new category.

However I agree, if you switch to another virtual site, such a variable should be reset. Same is true when you delete a site. But excepted these two actions, the std behaviour could be to keep the current user mode and pid.

I do not know if this is possible. In all the cases this is not urgent.

Resolution: "Exit Administration" link should work now. It redirects to the current site home page in Live mode. If the home page is not published, the edit mode will be shown automatically (the feature has actually nothing to do with "Exit Administration" behaviour).

About remembering the page and mode: should we really redirect to the original page? What happens if the siteadmin goes into the administration, switches to another site and clicks "Exit Administration"? Or even deletes that site? Please reopen this ticket if the old behaviour should be changed. Thank you!

I still have some issues to exit the administration, right after a fresh installation, when no page was validated and published yet. It looks like unable to switch to the edit mode automatically.

Else it would be really great to keep somewhere in the session the latest page and mode used by an author when entering the admin center so that he can exit on the same page he was modifying.

Finally I still have some display issue with IE6 (cf screesnhot)
