Updating page's categories seems to flush revisions tree

I have a page on which I add a container / publish my page, and so on n times.
So, in versioning (at page field level), I get n revisions.

I add a category to my page (page field level), I publish.
When I open versioning engine, I get only one version, which looks like current version. No change when choosing content revisions or metadata revisions.
