Impossible to copy paste a container in a container list of type single_mandatory

I try to copy a container from a page to another page that uses the same template. The problem is that this container is contained in a container list that type is single_mandatory_type . So I could copy my container, but I couldn't paste it as the destination container list already contained its single container. It would probably had been same with a single_type container list that already contained a container.
So it would be better if paste operation behavior was:
_ add container if not single*_type or if single_type with no container
_ ask user if existing container should be overwritten if single*_type with a container already existing
