Expression markers only work for SmallText fields

In the "Template Developer Guide" it is not stated that Expression markers only work for Smalltext fields. According to the tests in the "Default values" template, they seem to be not used for BigText, Integer, Float, Boolean, Date, so perhaps this should be either implemented or we should explicitly document that it only works for SmallText.
